Past: Frances First Brake into Insanity1348 Paris, France – The Great Pestilence June 17th 1348,
Walking down the streets had become disheartening for me, my beautiful people coughing and sneezing as if possessed by demons. I had become inflicted with the sickness my people obtained. A fever spick had hit me as well as blood that began to trickle from my ear, it is worrisome and I am in need of the doctor who is overflowed with people and will be for some time I will go another time.
June 28th 1348,
My figures and toes have begun to turn like the others that foil discussing black. Vomiting blood has become a regular occurrence, as well as the appearance of black spots on my body. The illness has been termed the Great Pestilence. Hell has risen to the earth, and brought with it the demons and curses of man.
July 6th 1348,
I have no will to go outside death litters the rode the doctors have become entities like the Pope to the sick, but they do not work miracles nor has one man been saved from their treatment. I can hardly bear the pain my body is in, my limbs ache without movement. My men have died merely days after showing signs, but I am to suffer as long as the French people are alive so to shall I.
July 24th 1348,
My body and soul are dwindling moving is too painful. My mind has become a dark cloud of things I never wish to come true. I fear my sanity is limited, how can anyone stay sane in a time such as this is beyond me. I fear for my fellow empires.
this is the end of Francis 1348 plague journal, he began writing it to keep himself sane in a time where people discouraged company for fear of catching the plague. His attempts failed however and in the beginning of August Francis fell into a pool of Insanity and sarrow. Past: Frances First Brake into Insanity1668 Paris, France – The Black PlagueFebruary 12th 1668,
Once more my body has trapped this Plague within it, the sheer number of times I have caught this is astonishing. Since The first outbreak they have become more manageable, the symptoms are always the same. Coughing, fever and blood from the ears, which will progress into Vomiting blood, tumors on my thighs and underarms along with chills and body ache. After a few months it shall subside again until I am cursed with it again.
February 29th 1668,
Today I am to help the doctor Charles de Lorme give false hope to my people. His theories that wear his protective robes along with a bird-like designed mask will keep the plague from getting to us. I do not mind the outfit, but I have seen the faces of people as we walk by. We are the symbol of this illness cloaked in black with demon like faces. I fear that there is no way to cure this Plague.
March 7th 1668,
So many dead throughout Europe, so many mass graves no marking for no one has time to grave for the dead, they are just thankful they are not dead yet. Times past the smell of iron was so thick I could not breath freely, now the smell is a friend a consent something that will not change. I cannot bring myself to weep for my people who I see die, nor do I smile when I see the children play and sing. Thou there song I reveal the fact to few that they sing of our curse of the plague, to busy with themselves parents are too busy to notice their children singing the English rhyme of the plague. It just recently became popular in London I heard it while visiting Angleterre, when I arrived home singing it to myself children had heard and started to sing it as well.
Anneau autour de la rose. Une poche pleine de bouquets. Ashes, Ashes. Nous tombons tous! Once more Francis swam in the pool of insanity, thou much more comfortable this time around. He had become familiar with the illness and the death, his mind forever set slightly different then before. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am not French nor do I know it, I am more farmiliar with German, I do plan on learning French sometime or reading up on the tongue Please forgive anymistakes I make and point them out to me. Francis brakes into Insanity are all linked with the Bubonic Plague, there were many out brakes of the Plague between the late 13th and to the early 17th centuries. There are more recent cases as well thou the plague has become scares in the modern centuries, Interesting fact thou Frenchmen was the one who thought of flees as the carrier, and a French doctor crated the outfit the plague doctors wore that was supposed to keep the plague from getting them. “There was an outbreak of bubonic plague in the poor parts of Sydney in 1900, which killed 103 people. A man named Robert Sutherland Thompson was put in charge of the situation. In 1898 a Frenchman working in India called Paul-Louis Simond had suggested that bubonic plague was transmitted by fleas that live on rats but his theory gained few supporters. One of them was Thompson. He carried out careful observations of the epidemic in Sydney, which proved the Frenchman's theory was correct.” (Info from www.localhistories.org/plague.… and Wikipedia) I was unable to pinpoint a second outbreak in France since there were so many I made up a time with in the right century. I am not sure if Paris. France had a second out brake of the plague but I am saying there was for the purpose of this, reminder only the First out brakes time line if accurate. Fact: Out brakes of the plague barely lasted three months since there were no more hosts after that to keep it going in one place. Relationships
